UPCOMING EVENTS

In preparation for the upcoming University year we are requesting assistance in re-stocking our shelves with food for the University of Windsor Students. We are requesting non perishable items. Some popular items include Cereals, Jam, Juice, Chick Peas, Crackers, Instant Coffee, Canned Fruit, Canned Meats, Kraft Dinner and Toilet Paper. Donations of money are also appreciated as this helps supplement any shortages (Cheques payable to Iona College). The Food Bank is operational during the summer, but for only one day per week and reopening in September for hopefully 3 days per week and during our Student Dinners.

STORYTELLING AND THEOLOGICAL REFLECTION

Open to everyone in the community

An examination of story as articulation of life experience and as interpretation of the meaning of life, its key stages and dimensions. The relationship of one's personal story to the core stories of the religious tradition, their liturgical expression, theological interpretation, and ethical implications. The impact of cultural stories on shaping thought, attitude, and action.

This course may be taken for:

1. Joint Masters Program.
Qualifies as an elective course for those pursuing a Masters in Pastoral Theology through the joint
Program offered through Assumption, Canterbury and Iona College.
Fee: $450.00

2. Pastoral Care Certificate Program.
Qualifies as an elective course for those pursuing the Iona College Pastoral Care Certificate Program.
Course assignments appropriate to this program.
Fee: $300.00

3. Licenced Lay Worship Leaders Program.
Qualifies as an elective course for Lay Leaders Program.
Only need to attend 8 of 12 classes. Course assignments appropriate to this program.
Fee: $200.00

4. Personal Growth and Interest.
Open to all persons who wish to audit the course, in whole or part for personal development.
Fee: $125.00
